Ceramic Vase of choice Rubbing Alcohol Paper Towels |

1. Wipe off surface of vase with paper towel saturated in Rubbing Alcohol. Let Dry. 2. If needed, practice strokes on the worksheets before painting your project. 3. Double load ¾” flat brush with Berry Wine and Lemon Custard. Paint tulip blossoms. 4. Double load ¾” flat brush with Thicket and Lemon Custard. Paint long leaves. 5. Double load #12 flat brush with Cobalt and Wicker White. Paint the 2 tallest Liatrus flower spikes. 6. Double load #12 flat brush with Thicket and Lemon Custard. Paint clusters of “basic” leaves around Liatrus just painted. Paint calyx and stems for Tulips. 7. Double load #12 flat brush with Dioxazine Purple and Wicker White. Paint purple Liatrus spike in front of blue Liatrus and leaf clusters. Paint 2 purple butterflies. 8. Using Script Liner brush and Thicket thinned with a little Flow Medium, paint butterfly bodies and antennae.
