1. Make 250 wraps with denim thread at the 6” setting. Carefully steam the fibers while on the tool to remove kinks. Tie a top-securing knot and cut ends. Set aside.
2. Make 45 wraps with black/silver thread at the 1 ½” setting. Make 6 small tassels. Use 3/8” piece of carpet tape to wrap around top half of tassel. Peel off second side of the tape and wrap with the blue thread. Hide loose tails. Set aside.
3. Brush on a thin strip of white glue around the bottom edge of the candle cup. Create a double strand using denim and black/silver thread. Keep the fibers straight and close together while wrapping. Continuing brushing on glue and wrapping strands. Let dry.
4. Separate the denim tassel to open and glue the wood wheel to the underside.
5. Thread the top securing knot ends through the hole in the wood cup. Run a bead of hot glue along the inside bottom of the cup, then pull the tassel into place.
6. To keep everything together, use the 14” piece of wire to thread on a bead larger than the hole in the wood wheel. Fold the wire in half. Thread the wire ends through the wood wheel, tassel fibers, candle cup and ½” bead. Loop the ends to secure.
7. Glue the bead trim around the tassel.
8. Glue the 6 small tassels, equally spaced apart, to the backside of the ladder trim. Glue the ladder trim over the satin ribbon of the bead trim.
9. Glue sequin loop trim where candle cup meets tassel.
10. Glue fluffy black trim around the top, then add sequined fringe to cover the bead completely.
